Cradling my arms, with books new & old
My senses overpowered with petrichor
Dear old plants of mine, bloom in rains.
Feline timetables return, with naps, and vanilla cakes
Friend, relishes wafting smells, with cherries n crème
hearing waves crash on beaches close by,
her smile spreads warmth, to my very core.
purring along, reassuring every breath
Always in bookstores, libraries and cozy couches,
an aroma of freshly ground coffee, or a cup of tea?
Illusion of happiness or reality?
